RESEARCH INTERESTS
I am interested in the ecology of arbuscular mycorrhizal (AM) fungi and native and exotic plant interactions and their role in land management and restoration. I am especially interested in AM diversity, feedbacks with native and exotic plants and their response to different soil properties and nutrient conditions. My research goals are to understand how land management practices can alter communities on an ecosystem level and to help determine methods that may deter exotic plant establishment and benefit native communities.
